You're only halfway through the course, but you're not letting that stop you from making money right away. You'll sell your first ad (or hire your first salesperson!) and start cheerfully/ aggressively telling your circle of influence and your community about your new magazine. You'll grow your database of advertising prospects, start building your reader email list, and make key contacts in your community.
weeks 7,8,9
You've got most things in place. You're continuing to sell advertising or coach your salesperson to do so for you. You'll coordinate the editorial and photography and start the ad design/ layout process. You'll be networking, showing off your sample cover and editorial calendar. Everything is a little hectic but it's all coming together perfectly so you'll have your print-ready files uploaded to your printer on time.
